DATA CONVERSION DEVICE AND ITS RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data conversion device which does not convert data and the data format of a file in each of programs but converts the data format independently of the programs. SOLUTION: This data conversion device 1 is provided with a conversion storing part 2 which stores data as a weighted directed graph while a data format is defined as a joint, a converting method is defined as a branch and a cost needed for data conversion is defined as weight, and a conversion executing part 3 which acquires a combination of data converting methods used for the conversion of data formats, i.e., the optimum combination of data converting methods by solving the shortest path problem of the weighted directed graph stored in the part 2.
