TIRE EXCHANGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase versatility by broadening applicable range of tire size and improve workability in exchanging a tire by reducing a load in lifting up a tire and making tire lifting work easy. SOLUTION: This tire exchanging device is provided with a pair of moving bodies 10 which are disposed on the right and left sides with respect to an axial line X of a tire T and capable of moving on the ground toward and apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to the axial line X of the tire T. The tire exchanging device further comprises a supporting portion 20 that is provided on the moving bodies 10 and is abutted to a peripheral face of the tire T for supporting it, and a moving mechanism 30 for moving the left and right moving bodies 10 in a direction perpendicular to the axial line X of the tire T. The tire T of various sizes are placed between the moving bodies 10, and the moving bodies 10 move toward each other to support the tire T on the supporting portion 20 to help the mounting and dismounting of the tire T.
