Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize radio frequency spectra by providing the communication system with at least one central station or the like for receiving and storing time-compressed information from a 1st telephone, and transmitting the time-compressed and stored information to a 2nd telephone. SOLUTION: A cellular telephone 3 includes a digital signal processor(DSP) 9, which time-compresses data generated by the telephone 3 and stores the data in a storage device 11. The time-compressed data stored in the device 11 are transmitted to a central station 1, which sends an answer back signal to the telephone 3 so as to indicate the reception of the data. When the central station 1 can communicate with a cellular telephone 7, the time-compressed data stored in the device 5 are transmitted to the telephone 7 and then stored in a storage device 15 by reverse time compression executed by a DSP 13. The telephone 7 sends an answer back signal indicating the reception of the transmitted signal to the central station 1.
