Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject composition having excellent processability and wide molecular weight distribution by reacting an olefin in the presence of a catalytic composition containing a specific organometal compound at a specified temperature under a specific pressure. SOLUTION: An olefin is reacted in the presence of a catalytic composition containing a metallocene and an organometal compound selected from a group of iron, cobalt, nickel and palladium having catalytic activities, e.g. dimethylsilyl[3-(N,N-dimethylaminoethyl)cyclopentadienylfluorenyl]zirc onium chloride) at 20-350 deg.C under 5-4,000 bar to provide the objective polyolefin. The organometal compound has a functional group of a Lewis base positioned at the position at which the functional group can intramolecularly coordinate with the central metal atom of the organic metal compound. The reaction temperature is regulated so that the value of the molecular weight distribution MW/MN of the obtained polyolefin measured by a gel permeation chromatography may be >=5.0. |
