description | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-section ceramic wiring board which allows an electronic device to be mounted normally on an external electric circuit board and in which no electric short circuit occurs between adjacent metallized wiring conductors and between metallized terminal electrodes. SOLUTION: A multi-section ceramic wiring board is provided with many wiring board areas 2 which are arranged on a ceramic matrix substrate 1 in a state where the areas 2 are divided by dividing lines 3, through holes 5 formed through the substrate 1 along the dividing lines 3, and notched sections 7 formed separately from the dividing lines 3 successively from the internal surfaces of the through holes 5 to pass through the areas 2. The wiring board is also provided with metallized terminal electrodes 6 formed to fill the notched section 7 and metallized wiring conductors 4 which are formed separately from the dividing lines 3 on the surfaces of the areas 2 and connected to the end faces of the electrodes 6. Therefore, no burr occurs on the conductors 4 and electrodes 6 at the time of cutting the matrix substrate 1 along the dividing lines 3. In addition, the connection reliability between the conductors 4 and electrodes 6 is improved, because the conductors 4 and electrodes 6 are connected to each other with large areas. |
