Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain drain water from being left in a drain pan after stopping operation of an air conditioner and to retard proliferation of algae or bacteria through drain water. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a refrigerant circuit coupling a compressor 12, an outdoor heat exchanger 13, a pressure reducer 7, and an indoor heat exchanger 4 sequentially and annularly through a refrigerant tube wherein the indoor heat exchanger 4 is mounted on the ceiling wall face and a drain pan 6 is disposed below. A copper plate 15 having a heat storage material 16 is provided on the bottom of the drain pan 6 and a heater 19 for heating the drain pan 6 is disposed between the bottom plate of the drain pan 6 and the heat storage material 16.
