MANAGING SYSTEM OF FILE UPDATE TIME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge whether a source file is required to be compiled or not even when the source file and an object file are in separate computer systems and time error exists between the computer systems. SOLUTION: Generation date and time of the source file used when the object file is generated is acquired from a correspondence table for 'make' which is inputted by a correspondence table input means 23 for 'make' by an acquiring means 42 of source file generation date and time corresponding to the object file. The present generation date and time of the source file is acquired by an acquiring means 41 of the source file generation date and time. Two generation dates and times acquired in this way are compared with each other by a comparing means 43 of source file generation date and time and the source file is judged whether it is updated or not after generating the object file depending on whether the dates and times are coincident or not.
