Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner plug made of synthetic resin which is opened after a seal is broken so that a liquid is effectively prevented from scattering when the plug is opened. SOLUTION: The inner plug 1 made of synthetic resin comprises a body wall 6 to be fitted within the inner circumferential surface of a mouth of a container, a closing bottom wall 7 formed at the lower end of the wall 6, and a flange wall 5, which extends outward from the upper end of the wall 6 so as to be brought into close contact with the upper end surface of the mouth of the container. The flange wall 5 comprises a thick-walled base portion 5a and a thin-walled peripheral piece extending from the outer end portion of the base portion 5a. The side surface of the outer end of the portion 5a is formed into a tapered surface 5c whose lower end side is tapered inward, and the thin-walled piece is connected to the upper end of the tapered surface 5c.
