AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT BASED ON HEAT ACCUMULATION THROUGH BUILDING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a body of a building as heat accumulation medium. SOLUTION: In a normal air conditioning operation, a pit 1 formed on a foundation part of a building is utilized as chamber for the intake of outside air, and the outside air taken in through the pit 1 is treated by an air conditioning device 8 to be supplied to a room to be air conditioned, while a heat accumulation operation is accomplished for a foundation beam 2 and a foundation bottom plate 3 as body components composing the pit 1 by circulating air in the pit 1 being treated by the air conditioning device. An outside air heat accumulation operation is performed for accumulation of heat by cooling the body using the outside air under a natural ventilation or forced ventilation within the pit 1. The inside of the pit 1 is sectioned by a number of section walls while an opening part 5 is provided on each of the section walls to arrange an outside air passage in a serpentine.
