Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording a write-once optical recording medium which can restrict jitters low and cope with a high density. SOLUTION: Information is written to an optical recording medium having a recording layer 2 formed on a substrate 1 by emitting light in the form of pulses of a head pulse corresponding to a recording signal and succeeding split pulses by a plurality of lasers of different wavelengths. A width Tss of the head pulse when recording information by the laser of a shortest wavelength λs among the plurality of lasers is set as follows, whereby jitters are restricted low and a high density can be met. The Tss of a 3T signal is 0.95-1.25T, the Tss of a 4T signal is 0.96 times of 3Tss±0.15T, the Tss of a 5T signal is 0.098 times of 3Tss±0.20T, the Tss of a 6T signal is 1.00 times of 3Tss±0.20T, and the Tss of a 7T signal is 1.04 times of 3Tss±0.20T. |
