Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a whole length of a light source in a direction of conveying a medium, the light source serving to fix a recorded result on a light-fixing type thermal recording medium. SOLUTION: This fixing device comprises a reflector 21 having a width which is roughly the same as or longer than a length of a fluorescent lamp and a concave reflection face being curved in a first direction perpendicular to the width direction. A plurality of fluorescent lamps 23 are provided to the front face of the reflecting face 21a along the curve. A light source 20 is constituted of the reflector 21 and the plurality of fluorescent lamps 23.
