description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a support device for induction current collecting device for linear rolling stock, which can prevent the interference of an induction current collection device with guide rails. SOLUTION: A support device 21 supports an induction current collecting device 13 which is installed to the intermediate position of a rolling stock 11. Pairs of stock body coupling beams 21b are arranged on support metallic parts 13aa provided at four corners of a support frame 13a for constituting the current collecting device 13 in the width direction of the rolling stock 11 via air springs 22. The beams 21b are journaled by hydraulic cylinders 21a hung from the bottom of the rolling stock 11, so that the cylinders 21a switch freely in the width direction of the rolling stock 11. Between the beams 21b and support frame 13a, vertical movement restricting device 21c provided with support frame hanging cylinders 21ca for the collecting device 21c can raise the current collecting device 13, when wheels are run and the device 21c moves freely in the vertical direction within a prescribed range when the rolling stock 11 runs in a floating state. Therefore, even when the current collecting device 13 deviates greatly from the center line of a truck in a curved portion in the section where a guide rail is laid, the current collect device 13 does not interfere with the guide rail.
