A copolymer has low transpiration property and crystallinity, and high heat resistance, and a fluorescent lamp covering material capable of using at 100 deg.C or higher for a long time is obtained. In formulas, R1 shows H, a halogen, a 1-8C alkyl group, 1-4C alkoxy group, a cyano group, or a nitro group; R2 shows a 1-12C alkylene group; R3 shows H, a 1-8C alkyl group; R4 shows H, a methyl group; R5 shows H, a hydroxyl group; R6 shows H, a 1-6C alkoxy group; R7 shows H, a 1-10C alkyl group, a 1-10C alkoxy group.
