description PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently form a complicated shape by forming a part of a wall around a retainer of a drive punch, appropriately arranging the drive punch, and controlling the distribution of the reaction force of a female die to reduce the working force. SOLUTION: In order to efficiently form a dimple 2a of a male die 2, a rubber die 3 is pressed from a part close to a working part using a drive punch 6 and a stock 1 is formed in the shape of the dimple 2a. That is, the drive punch 6 close to the dimple 2a is elevated to locally increase the forming force of a rubber in the vicinity of a non-formed part of the stock 1. The forming force in the vicinity of the non-formed part of the stock 1 is locally increased by the effect of the drive punch 6, and the rubber can be formed. The rubber die 3 is stored in a retainer 4, the stock is set on the rubber die 3, the stock 1 is pressed by a male die 2, and wrinkles generated in the stock is suppressed by a wrinkle suppressor 5. A part of the wall around the retainer is formed by the drive punch 6.
