Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain biocompatibility, biodegradability and a mechanical properties similar to bone by making a scaffold substance a matrix based on a substance based on broken natural starch, in a device for engineering bone equivalent tissue having the scaffold substance. SOLUTION: The device for engineering bone equivalent tissue is prepared by containing a scaffold substance having a polymer matrix made up of a substance based on broken natural starch. Starch to be used is natural or plant- derived starch made up of amylose and/or amylopectin. The 'broken starch' means a product where starch polysaccharide forms a practically continuous polymeric kinking phase of starch or a practically completely irregular molecular structure. Starch is broken by heating at 120 deg.C or higher in he presence of a breaking agent selected from urea and polyol. |
