PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs due to reduction in the number of parts by forming the handhold part of a gripping member being mounted to a door with hollow forming and hence improving the assembly working efficiency of the gripping member of the door. SOLUTION: In a gripping member 4, an inclination part 13 of a handhold part 8 and a front part 15 are formed in one piece by hollow forming for forming while force-feeding gas into the handhold part 8, a space 17 is formed at a central part being surrounded by them, at the same time an entire outer shape becomes a specific thickness. Then, when the gripping member 4 is to be fitted to a door 5, grooves 10 and 11 of a body 7 of the gripping member 4 are engaged to an opening 21 of an outer plate 19. After that, a foamed heat-insulating material 30 such as a foamed polyurethane is filled into a space that is surrounded by the outer plate 19, an inner plate 31, and the gripping member 4, thus reducing the number of parts and assembly man-hours and also improving strength.
