The LEDs are connected to each other by combining at least one serial circuit with at least one parallel circuit. The light intensity necessary to expose a photographic recording material is obtained by many LEDs, consequently, a short exposure time is realized. By connecting the LEDs in the above method, a voltage and a current for driving this device are prevented from reaching a large value requiring technical labor and time, and the device is easily driven. Further, the light intensity is locally controlled by the adjusting means and the quality of the exposure is improved.
