Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve and the heat insulation effect and handlability comparatively economically by a method wherein a plurality of vertical ridges are provided at specified intervals at the outer circumference of the trunk part of a cup main body and the trunk part is covered with a heat-insulating paper sheet with a layer of heat- insulating space formed in between. SOLUTION: A plurality of ridges 14 projecting outward are provided at specified intervals, excluding parts close to the upper and the lower edges, at the trunk part 11 of a paper cup main body formed of the trunk part 11 and the bottom part 12, having a mouth edge part 13 formed by curling outwardly the peripheral edge at the opening part, and a heat-insulating paper sheet 20 is stuck to the outside of the cup main body and thereby heat-insulating spaces 30 are formed between the heat- insulating paper sheet 20 and each of parts other than the projected stripes 14 of the trunk part 11. Since a heat-insulating paper container 1 is constructed of two members of the paper cup main body and the heat-insulating paper sheet 20, eliminating an embossed paper, its cost can be reduced and furthermore, with ridges formed at the outside of the heat-insulating paper sheet 20, convenience in handling the container can be improved with slipperiness eliminated when the trunk part 11 is held with fingers or the like.
