SOLUTION: A network 106 constituted of a capacitor 108, a transformer 114 and a resistor 110 is connected with a switching device 102. In a snubber network related to the switching device, a capacitor restrains a voltage spike generated by opening a switch 102. The resistor 110 connected in series with a capacitor attenuates the ringing of a capacitor voltage. The resistor 110 is inserted in the network 106 via the transformer 114, having a primary coil connected in series with the capacitor 108 and a secondary coil connected with the resistor 110. A saturable core device is installed, in which the transformer 114 is saturated during operation of a system and cuts off the resistor 110 from the network.
