PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recognizing electrically intrinsic information held by an element for magnetic conversion, for example, ID, from the outside of a supporting body as necessary by providing a function by which the intrinsic information can be electrically recognized. SOLUTION: A manufacture information recording means 6 with which an identifier such as an intrinsic manufacture number of a slider and the like can be recognized is provided on a slider, in the manufacture information recording means 6, recognizing information can be performed by an electric signal based on a resistance element having electrode terminals arranged at a plane being perpendicular to a rail for floating. Thereby, since a manufacture number (e.g. ID) is previously recorded for each slider, even if a slider is separated from a wafer or incorporated with a suspension, magnetic head assembly body can be followed for each slider.
