Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antimicrobial fastening parts which have excellent fastness to washing and fastness to dry cleaning and maintain an excellent antimicrobial effect for a long period of time by a photocatalyst effect and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: The antimicrobial fastening parts are coated with coating films 4 added with photocatalyst particulates 3 of TiO2, or the like, on the surface of a base material 1. The fastening parts are coated with the coating films added with the photocatalyst particulates deposited with antimicrobial metals. Such photocatalyst particulates are formed by a method for coating the surfaces of the fastening parts with the coating material added and kneaded with the photocatalyst particulates 3 or by coating the surfaces of the parts with the coating material added and kneaded with the photocatalyst particulates deposited with the antimicrobial metals or depositing the antimicrobial metals by a photocatalyst reduction reaction on the photocatalyst particulates, then adding such photocatalyst particulates to the coating material for coating, kneading the coating material and coating the surfaces of the fastening parts by using this coating material.
