POSITION REGULATING DEVICE OF STEERING WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately regulate not only the tilting-telescopic action of a steering wheel, but also the angle of tiltation of an operational rotary surface of the steering wheel to meet a condition suitable for a driver. SOLUTION: This position regulating device comprises a fixed bracket 1 fixed to a vehicle body, a movable bracket 2 to be held by the fixed bracket 1, a steering shaft 10 mounted on the movable bracket 2, a long hole intersection part A1 comprising a horizontally long hole 3 and a longitudinally long hole which are respectively formed in the fixed bracket 1 and the movable bracket 2, a tightening shaft piercing the long hole intersection part A1, and an intermediate shaft 12 which connects the intermediate shaft 12 between the steering shaft 10 and a steering gear through a universal joint part 13, and is expandable and oscillating in the axial direction. The fixed bracket 1 and the movable bracket 2 are appropriately fixed by piercing the tightening shaft in the long hole intersection part A1.
