ELECTRIC RICE COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which drastically reduces an unevenness in cooking at the time of a rice cooking. SOLUTION: This electric rice cooker is equipped with a heating coil 13 which is attached to the external side of a coil base comprising a non-metal part surrounding the bottom side face of a pot, and also, heats the pot by an electromagnetic induction action, an induction coil 14 which is located in the vicinity of the heating coil 13, and also, is located on a face being confronted with the pot, and a switch device 18 which short-circuits and releases both ends of the induction coil 14, and a magnetic flux which flows on the pot 12 is controlled by short-circuiting or releasing both ends of the induction coil 14 by the switch device 18, and thus, a convection in an article to be cooked is changed, and a rice cooker having less unevenness in the cooking, can be provided.
