The remote station (5) includes: a transceiver system for dialoguing with the various local stations; one or more computers (51) suitable for receiving and printing the photograms that arrive from the local stations, relative only to those vehicles that have exceeded the speed limits; an operator is thus able to visually compare the data of offending vehicles, photographed repeatedly, and read the number plates, whatever their type or shape .
