description | The mounting couls in a variable position alters the shape of the magnetic field acting on blanks, one coil being set inside the other one while containing the chute in which the blanks are moved. The leads of the coils are ensuring the connection to line and phase voltage of a three-phase supply to alter the phase between the voltages fed to the coils. In addition, the unit includes a transducer sensing the remnant field in the treated blanks in front of the chute, and is connected to the coils voltage regulator. The blanks feeding chute (3) is passing through the inner coil (2), which in turn is inside the outer coil (3), while the angle alpha between the coils is controlled by the adjusting mechanism (4). The latter comprises ties (5,6) articulated to other ties (7,8) whose opposite ends are threaded in the turnbuckle (9). The terminals of the coils are provided with additional leads for phase connection and for attachment to the neutral of the supply. |
