Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides an improved process for producing flexible PVC films in which the polymer composition, which in addition to plasticisers contains further additives as appropriate, is shaped below the melt flow range on a calender to form a thick film, taken off and subsequently briefly heated up to the thermoplastic temperature range. If required, the high-quality thick film can be stretched at the earliest simultaneously with the brief heating. The films are distinguished by outstanding surface quality, transparency and freedom from streaks and fish eyes.
