The conveyor is provided with supports which support a hauling track and carry a primary shaft running in the longitudinal direction thereof. The hauling track is formed by the primary shaft and by a supporting element running parallel to it, which element is provided at least with one running surface for the transport part. The primary shaft serves to drive the hauling track and guides the transport parts during their transport in the device. Furthermore, the primary shaft drives the drive provided on the transport part, which drive generates the feed motion of the transport part and is mounted with it on the primary shaft. Since the hauling track is formed only by the primary shaft and the supporting element, the transport parts can be transported at high speed on this continuous hauling line. Furthermore the conveyor is of simple construction, its production and initial costs are low and it is easy to maintain.
