Zusammenfassung: | The photodetectors (14a-14e) are connected to the test region of the fuel nozzles (12a-12e) by the fiber optic elements (24a-24e). The flame of the fuel nozzles is detected by the photodetectors through the fiber optical elements that have an optical fiber with 100-200 mm diameter. A processor (20) receives the signals and detects flashback in combustor. Each optical fiber element has a cylindrical bullet tip through which the optical fiber is extended. A capillary sleeve is arranged around the optical fiber. A decimator of the processor integrates selected number of digital signal to form sample data. The false alarm is prevented using the correlated sample data obtained by correlating sample data with fixed step response. The photodetector is made up of material selected from silicon, gallium arsenide, silicon carbide, germanium, gallium nitride, gallium phosphide. |
