Each door is maintained closed by a spring 31 and is caused to open, when the drum rotates, by centrifugal force acting on counterweight 30 at the free end of lever 29. Tension in the spring is adjustable by having one end removably fixed in one end of a chain 32, the three chains being joined together at the other end. The container is mounted on a chassis with wheels 11 and is provided with a towbar 13 of adjustable length. |
