description ABSTRACT A method and system that provides device centric location based triggers for service recommendations is disclosed. The method and system provides an efficient mechanism of sharing network access credentials to the event attendees in case of social events. Further, for peer-to-peer services such as group play, the method allows the user to share channel information and other necessary credentials with other users for participating in group play games. The method provides notification to the users attending the events for auto connecting to the network of the user hosting the event. Further, the method generates real time remainders to the users to effectively use their stored coupons based on their location. The method can also be extended to enterprise business meetings and can be integrated with enterprise infrastructure such as unified communication solutions for hosting enterprise meetings and events.
