In the described example the paper was made from sulphitebleached cellulose and contained 20% by weight of titanium dioxide. The printing surface was of steel etched by a photo-mechanical process. The ink had an alcoholic solvent and contained 34.8% lithopone, 11.9% iditol, 14.2% ethylene glycol, 38% ethanol and 1.1% scarlet pigment, all the percentages being by weight. |
