Administration of bacterial composition for use in treatment of lung metastases

An administration procedure is disclosed to effectively treat a companion animal suffering from lung metastases. In particular, a nebulized BCG composition is delivered directly to the lungs to increase uptake therein and avoid loss of the active ingredient e.g. in the mucosa of the upper airways.
