Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A cutting tool 1 comprises a first shear part 2 rotatably connected to a second shear part 3, at least one of the first and second shear parts comprises a cutting blade 4, 6 with at least one of the shear parts comprising a shock absorption means 20, 30 that absorbs the impact created by the closure of the first and second shear parts. The shock absorbing means may comprise a resilient shock absorbing member at least partly made from a resilient material such as rubber or foam. The shock absorbing means may comprise at least one cutout or hole 24, 34 where the cutout or hole may extend along and axis that is parallel to the longest dimension of the shear part. The shock absorbing means may be tapered along the axis of the cutout hole. The cutting tool may have an attaching means for attaching the absorption means to a shear part which may be a part of the handle or shaft of the tool. The attachment means may have an aperture to allow a part of the handle or shaft of the tool to pass through the attachment means. There may be one or two absorption means.
