Zusammenfassung:A charging device 1 for charging and/or discharging an electrical device (e.g. electric vehicle (EV) or EV charger), includes: an outer charging port casing 2; an inner charging port casing 3; one or more inner electrical contacts 31; and a cable 4. The outer charging port casing is fixed with respect to the electrical device. The inner charging port casing is arranged within an opening 21 of the outer charging port casing. The inner electrical contacts are arranged within the inner charging port casing to connect with one or more corresponding electrical contacts of a second electrical device to charge and/or discharge the electrical device. The cable is mechanically connected to the inner charging port casing and electrically connected to the electrical contacts. The inner charging port casing is detachable from the outer charging casing to connect to the second electrical device, whereupon the cable extends through the opening of outer charging port casing. The inner electrical contacts may perform AC charging and/or discharging. The inner charging port casing may correspond to a CCS2 standard or a Type 2 standard. The outer charging port casing may include one or more outer electrical contacts 22 for DC charging. A cable drive unit may drive the cable into and/or out of the opening. A cable store may include a deflection portion to deflect the cable to wind around a drum portion.
