Zusammenfassung:	A connector coupling 501 for coupling respective ends of a first and second tubular component of a modular handrail system, comprising: an inner cylinder element 601 and an outer sheath element 602, the outer sheath element secured to the inner cylinder element and arranged substantially concentrically around the inner cylinder element to define, at each of a first and a second end of the connector coupling, a gap 603 between the inner cylinder element and the outer sheath element, for slidably receiving an end of a tubular component (handrail 106) with an interference fit; wherein each of a first and a second end of the inner cylinder element is provided with a plurality of slots 604, extending in a longitudinal direction of the inner cylinder element, that define a corresponding number of tabs 605 therebetween, the tabs resiliently flexible radially inwardly. Aspects include a method of manufacturing the connector coupling (501) and a modular demountable ramp system (101) comprising the connector coupling (501).
