Zusammenfassung: | A knee protection device comprises an inflatable chamber 5, inflation means 1, and resiliently deformable padding (10, figure 2) where the chamber is comprised of a plurality of segments 9 divided by division means 2 such that they can move relative to one another at their perimeter. Preferably the chamber comprises a plurality of segments fanning out from a central location 8 at the kneecap. Some of the segments may be physically spaced from one another. The inflation means may comprise a bladder or pump, located above the chamber in use, with a one-way valve 7 and an air release button. There may be an additional layer of foam 3 on the outer surfaces of the segments. The device might be provided in a pocket within a sleeve (figures 5-6). |
