Zusammenfassung: | An artificial prosthetic hand 10 including a palm body 18 and at least one finger digit 11, 12, 14, 15 extending distally therefrom, each finger digit having plural pivoted phalange sections 11a, 11b and an elongated flexible flat strap member 26 extending as a tendon through the phalange sections and bidirectionally longitudinally movable by a linear actuator (40, Fig 20) in the palm body to curl or straighten the finger digit. The finger digits may alternatively be pivoted to the palm body by knuckle elements (11c, Fig 23) having arms with pegs (66, Fig 24) inserted in diverging grooves (68, Fig 24) of a plate (60, Fig 24) mounted on the palm body and movable by a linear actuator (70, Fig 26) for abduction or adduction of the fingers. A thumb assembly 16 mounted on the palm body may have successive phalange sections (78, 84, Fig 44) pivoting on non-parallel axes with an elongated flexible flat strap member (90, Fig 44) extending through them as a tendon bidirectionally longitudinally movable by a linear actuator. |
