Data shape confidence

A method of receiving a query from a query source, receiving a dataset, acquiring an expected data shape, determining a data shape of the dataset, comparing the data shape to the expected data shape, determining based on the comparison, a confidence factor: detecting that the factor is above a confidence threshold and transmitting, in response to the detecting, a reply to the query source in response to the query, the reply based on the dataset. The method may also determine, based on the query, one or more expected data fields of the data, wherein the expected data shape is based on the expected data fields. The acquiring may include, identifying, based on the query, an industry, and may select a generalised data shape based on the industry, wherein the expected data shape is based on the generalised shape.
