| Zusammenfassung: | A measurement device 1 having a scanning device 19 (e.g. a laser) for scanning a surface of a component 3 to be measured, a substantially horizontal conveyor belt to support the component and to convey it to a position between a pair of opposed belts 7, 9 lying in a substantially vertical plane and movable in synchronism to grip lateral edges of the component therebetween. The belts convey the component past the scanning device and the device has means to move the two opposed belts and includes means for providing information regarding the position of the belts, whereby the scanning device is able to scan repeatedly across the component to measure the same. |
