description A folding soft top 10 for a convertible cabriolet vehicle (100, Fig.4) comprising an A-pillar (130), B-pillar (140) and C-pillar (150), the folding top comprising a fabric 20 having an A-pillar portion 30 for mechanical connection to the A-pillar, a C-pillar portion 50 for mechanical connection to the C-pillar and a B-pillar portion 40 between the A-pillar and C-pillar portions for lateral connection to the B-pillar (140), wherein a tensioning cable 60 extends from the A pillar portion via the B pillar portion to the C pillar portion on each side of the folding top fabric. The cable acts to tension the fabric in the closed position. The top may comprise a front and rear coupling device 70,80. The rear coupling device may be a rear tensioning bow 82.
