Zusammenfassung:A controller 1 for connection to a USB cable comprising input 2 and output 3 USB connectors 2, 3; at least one transfer line 4, 5, 6, 7 extending from the input USB connector to the output USB connector; a switch 8 arranged in the transfer line; and, a programmable control unit connected to the switch the programmable control unit being adapted to be programmed with a programmed time and to hold the switch in a closed state for the programmed time. The transfer line may include a power transfer line and a data transfer line. There may be a switch on each of the transfer lines. The switch 8 may be a relay or transistor.
