Zusammenfassung:An attachment 10 for a chainsaw (40, Fig 2) has an elongate body section 11 with a top plate 12 and two walls 13, 14 and a connecting bar 17 rotatably mounted on elongate body section 12 which may have a threaded inside to connect with the bar stud of a chainsaw, such that, in use, the chainsaw (40, Fig 2) moves parallel to guide rail (44, Fig 2) and is rotatable around the longitudinal axis of connecting bar 17. A distal end (42, Fig 2), of connecting bar 17 may have another threaded opening of different size so that it may connect with another sized bar stud. The connecting bar 17 may further by mounted within a bearing 21, such that the bar may slide within it. The bar 17 may also be threaded externally 26 so that it can wind within bearing 21, and may include a lock nut 27, 28 on both sides of the bearing 21 to lock bar 17 in place. An index mark 29 may be placed on lock nut 27, 28 to indicate the amount of adjustment. A jacking screw 31 may be included on the base of the bearing 21 so as to tilt the bearing to allow a chainsaw (40, Fig 2) in use to cut at angles other than 90 degrees. One of the walls 13 may also be adjustably attached to the body 11 such that different guide rails may be accommodated.
