Zusammenfassung:A probe arrangement for a duct detector 1 comprises a portion mountable to a duct 4 and at least one probe 6 having at least one port 8, 10. The probe extends from the mountable portion and into the interior of the duct, thus positioning the port in the duct. The probe is reorientable relative to the mountable portion. This enables the port to be reoriented relative to flow in the duct independent of an orientation at which the mountable portion is mounted to the duct. The probe arrangement further includes an indicator 46 of the orientation of the probe, wherein the indicator is visible from outside the duct. The ports may comprise an inlet and an outlet which open in opposite directions. The mountable portion may define an intake passage and an exhaust passage. The reorientation may include rotating the probe about an axis.
