Methods and apparatus for analysing embryo development

A method for helping a user establish values for a plurality of embryo development parameters of interest from a series of images of the embryo at different developmental times comprising: (a) selecting a parameter of interest from among the plurality of parameters of interest; (b) automatically selecting an image from within the series of images to display to a user for establishing a value for said parameter of interest, wherein the image is selected according to the current parameter of interest; (c) displaying the selected image to the user on a display; (d) changing the image displayed to another image from the series of images in response to user input; (e) establishing a value for the parameter of interest in response to user input; (f) selecting another parameter of interest as the next parameter of interest, and repeating steps (b) to (e). Apparatus to perform the method is also claimed.
