Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a bottle having a lid that is directly engagable with a container through a push-fit engagement. The lid and container have correspondingly shaped contact or engagement surfaces (Figure 6, 24 and 14 respectively) and that provide a frictional and fluid-tight seal between the lid and the container to keep the lid and container in contact with one another during use. The bottle may also comprise a cap that can be used to pick up the lid and also can be used to aid with placing the lid over the container. The bottle can be used as a babies bottle, with the lid either comprising a spout or a teat. The bottle may include a removably engageable collar 51 for friction engaging with at least a portion of the outer lid skirt 22. This collar may comprise one or more handles 61, and also it may urge the lid skirt into a fluid-tight engagement.
