An interactive document holder

An interactive document holder device 1 comprises a touch-sensitive panel 3 having a plurality of distinct touch-sensitive areas 3a, a document holder portion 4 receives a document 5 overlying the touch panel, a look-up table associating a touch-sensitive area with a resource and processing an input to the touch-sensitive panel by looking up the associated resource and providing an output 10. The device may be connected to an external device such as a computer or tablet. The output may be sound through a speaker or video or other media displayed on the screen of a connected device. The document overlaying the device may contain identification digits or barcode which identify the document to the device. The device stores look-up tables which correspond to different documents, when the user touches the appropriate touch sensitive area the device provides an output based on the look-up table associating the touch sensitive area with a resource.
