Zusammenfassung:A system, method, and computer program product are provided for reducing noise such as blur and transparency in an image using depth-based on sweeping over image samples. In use, each noisy pixel of an image having noise is identified; for each noisy pixel, at least one sample included in each of a plurality of neighbouring pixels to the noisy pixel is identified; the samples are swept over at least partially in a depth-based order to identify a value for the noisy pixel that reduces the noise. Preferably wherein, â at least one sampleâ includes a point within a neighbouring pixel which is identified utilizing a predetermined sampling algorithm and â sweeping over the samplesâ comprising a weighted filter associated with the blur/noise and averaging the sampleâ s values to obtain a value for the noisy pixel.
