Zusammenfassung: | Two decks of playing cards capable of being used to play standard card games are provided with cuts and fold lines such that they are also capable of being folded so as to form a chess set. A first group of cards from each deck include fold lines and cuts which allow the cards, when folded, to each represent a particular chess piece. A second group of cards from each deck include fold lines and cuts which allow opposing ends of each card to be folded, with one folded end of a card defining a tab and the other folded end of the card defining a slot, such that the folded cards may be linked together via the slots and tabs to define the board. The cards of one deck have differently coloured backs to those of the other deck, such that the first group when folded defines two sets of distinguishable chess pieces, and the second group when folded defines two sets of distinguishable coloured surfaces which can be linked in an alternating arrangement to form the board. The cuts may be die-cut or laser-cut. |
