Zusammenfassung:A sheet-fed scanner with selectively variable document feed-in and feed-out positions includes conventional scanning means 3,4 and document driving means 2 within a main body having at least a base side and first and second inclined sides 11,12 and a passage 16 for guiding the document. By resting the sheet-fed scanner on various sides of the main body, the user can feed the document from various positions (Figs 3,4 not shown). The main body can be pentagonal or trapezoidal in cross section section (Figs 5,6 not shown).
