Zusammenfassung:	Apparatus 10 for heating a substantially enclosed area such as a marquee or the like comprises at least one air heater 12 mounted in a trailer 11 and means for passing air from the area to be heated through the heater. Input and output ducts 15, 14 are provided and are arranged to extend between the warm air heaters 12 and the area to be heated. Thus, the apparatus 10 is arranged to be situated outside the area to be heated. The apparatus includes its own supply of fuel gas, 19 and may be thermostatically controlled.
